Hi, I’m usually over on the e23 forum since I have a 733i, but just picked up a 2022 330i that has the active grill with the glossy piano black slats. For some reason there was patches of adhesive goo still on most of the upward slanted sections of the slats at the top, from either manufacturing or shipping. I tried rubbing the goo off with my fingers but it was too stuck on there. I then tried Goo-Gone with a soft white cotton sock and that finally took it all off. However, now the slats are hazy where I was rubbing the goo off and I don’t know if it’s permanent or maybe will fade. Anyone else have this problem with their new BMW? - Mike
2022 330i
sport-line
Alpine white
Tacora red interior
Update:
I ended up just replacing the whole grill with a shadowline version, which I think looks more cohesive anyway.
That is BMW electric car ?
No, just a 330i sportline
