My 95 e34 has a strange window issue. The switch has been checked and working. Front windows work. Rear windows will try to go up(click and motor sound) but can't because they're up but won't go down and no click from relay. I suspect a bad wire between the switch and control module or between the control module (body module) and the general module (relay module). Having a computer (control module) between the switch and the relay module makes this alot more complicated problem. I have swapped both the modules with known working units and no change. Fuses are all fine as well. Iv had the car for 8yrs but this is a new problem.
Anyone have an easyish to read pinout of both modules? Anyone else's experience this issue?
Please define " motor sound". If the motors are running then the regulator(s) are the issue. If no running motors I'd be suspecting the motors being stuck. this is common the rear doors as they are(mostly) seldom used. A good Fonzi style bang with the side of your fist on the door card below the armrest while holding the button will often wake them up.
If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. - Mark Donohue
The relay clicks and motors move the a little bit up and make their normal sound. They do nothing in the downward direction is selected. The relay doesn't click. I'll try smacking them even though the relay isn't engaged.
