IBUS Adapter (Resler, etc.) without an Android Headunit

As these IBUS USB adapters are able to be connected to and controlled by an Android HU, I assume they can also be used with an Android phone or tablet. Is that correct? I do not want to install an Android HU because there does not seem to be any available with high fidelity audio output, and they all seem a bit buggy. I would like to install an IBUS adapter and be able to reset the MPG and make changes like lights and comfort settings.

Hey, you just need to connect your interface per usb to usb c or whatever adapter to your android phone/tablet, then just purchase the Ibus App to control everything. You don't need a head unit for this
