Fit CCC to an 08 E87

    Heya folks
I have an E87 120i 2008 Hatch that does not have CCC Nav fitted standard. Only the standard radio/head unit.
Is it possible to retrofit the CCC listed in link below into my vehicle noting that I have the cut out/pocket in my dash which houses the pop up screen.

    Any advice would be appreciated.
    Peter

    Hey mate,
TBH, not worth fitting the CCC - it is ancient technology and a lot of effort. Even the CIC is hard work. Both out of date.

I would suggest you are better off getting an off-the-shelf double DIN head unit, such as the Alpine ILX-702D. This has android auto, apple car play etc. Alternatively, you can get one of the Android powered head units. I personally went with an Avin unit for my E82 and after many months of fiddling, finally have it working perfectly. Looks like the latest iDrive units but at a fraction of the cost to do (Around $1000 vs $5000 to install latest iDrive). Still if I had my time again, probably would have gone with the Alpine unit

I think I might just replace the Professional radio in it and be happy
The OEM unit has pixilated big time
These units will swap out as no coding is that correct.
