I'm looking at a used 2013 750 with 120k miles and a complete set of service records. I've read the monster thread on here about the engine being garbage and the "warranty" replacement due to the class action lawsuit, etc...

If through the service records I can confirm that the engine has been replaced, does it then become a good vehicle to consider? Did the replacement engine address the issues with the original?

Yes, I know, you would still have the typical BMW issues to deal with...but if we weren't BMW fans we wouldn't be on this forum.

What's odd is that I've watched a dozen "2013 750 review" videos and there was little mention of the engine issue. And so I thought perhaps the BMW V8 engine issue had been addressed based on the issues with the prior generation. Then I stumbled across the thread in here about the failures and replacements. Glad I found that!
