    Can a 2015 550i have an N63 engine?

Trying to get back into a BMW after a long while, so I'm looking at a 2015 550i at a local Fird dealer When I run the vin on a random vin decoder online, it says N63N for the engine, shouldn't it be N63TU?

    Thanks

the 2015 has the N63TU. You can't put in the older N63 (non-TU) motor, it's a different motor and electronics on the car. N63N refers to a TU (TU1, TU2, TU3 etc)
