2018 X1 F48 Halogen to LED headlight upgrade

Hi All.

I'm new to this forum. I recently purchased a 2018 X1 and it has halogen headlights.

I'm looking for help/advice on upgrading to the LED headlights. Is the OEM composite assembly the way to go or are there solid aftermarket alternatives? Any insight on approach or experiences with a similar upgrade would be greatly appreciated.

I just replaced housings and bulbs (with LED) yesterday. Here are some good reference materials.
