Z3 M Roadster rear plate/trunk panel??

So mine is falling off as many have in the past. Previous owner stuck some glue in there that did nothing and removed the original 2 clip/screw things behind the plate that hold it in. I found the parts online, but can't figure out if they can be added after the adhesive or if they need to be put on before the adhesive.

Looks like it's two of each:

07143448498 screw
07119931018 washer


Does anyone have any insight?

The adhesive should be set first, the plug nuts go in last (well technically the screws go in last). Make sure when installing that the holes in the trunklid for the plug nuts are lined up with the panel (ie. ensure that the holes in the trunklid are centered to the holes in the panel)

Thanks. I did just that. The holes for the plug nuts are D shaped, so there's no way they can't be. It actually lined up quite well.
