07 550i 4.8L VANOS solenoids which plugs go where?

2007 550i with the 4.8L V8

There are 4 total solenoids on the front of the engine, two per cylinder head.

Which plugs go where?

Longer wiring on top? Or bottom? And on both sides right?

Car came in all taken apart after a (supposed) timing chain replacement job, car wasn't ever reassembled afterwards(yup..basket case headache job) and when reassembled, once started ..it ran like crap. Guessing the connectors for the VANOS solenoids are probably backwards (I hope..if not there's bigger headaches I suppose..)

I have a basic scan tool, will scan it in the morning.

Right now I have them plugged in as follows:

Passenger side cylinder head: connector with longer wiring plugged into the top solenoid. Connector with shorter wiring plugged into the lower solenoid

Driver side cylinder head: connector with longer wiring plugged into the bottom solenoid. Connector with shorter wiring plugged into the upper solenoid

I've read and searched a lot and it's really hard to find pics of the n62 showing clearly which connector goes where. I may try swapping them but I don't have any codes having to do with VANOS.

I got p0393 and p0341 and a bunch of misfire codes though

I'm checking the camshaft position sensors wiring now.

Ok so after more searching of Google images and eBay listing, and looking really hard at the harness on those engines...i found that I did have them correct. Just an FYI for anyone wondering or anyone in the future..👍
