Just picked up a used 2008 528xi. Love it.
Really would like to add Apple CarPlay to take advantage of the features and...actually use the screen in the car.
I've read around and I'm seeing all kinds of reviews.
It seems to be the one everyone loves most is from Bimmer-Tech, but sadly they do not have a model that fits my car.

What do you guys think? I'm a little dubious now that I've spoken with a local Cartronics installer saying that they have all kinds of weird audio issues or the units don't function like users want them to (like steering wheel buttons won't work).
Anyone have one that has really worked well for them they can suggest?
I'm very interested in CarPlay for sure, but also not opposed to a backup cam and possibly some other add-on's depending on recommendations.

I just received my Nunoo Android 10 kit today and it includes backup camera and GPS. For $400 and a day's labor, I'll give it a try.
