Where have all the Vintage 7's gone

I was scrolling thru the photo's of this years Vintage. Sadly I only saw one E32, a 740i. I did see a few E23's including a very nice Alpina. Anyone interested in contacting Scott and asking him to make the 7 series the featured vehicle at Vintage 2022!

Also a few years ago several members on this board got to together for a lunch meeting in Palm Beach County. Any takers to do it again!

Where have they gone...well the E32 I know is owned by a hooner. He has already destroyed an E28. I think he is learning but ricing that 535 didn't make any sense to me or his dad, both owners of nice 535s.

As to the E23, seems if it isn't a 745 or an L there isn't much interest. Probably due to the fact that it is a low production car in the grand scheme of things.

I dig the 745 quite a bit, just an odd car. But the Euro 10:1 cars that made it over here seem to be far more rare when found.

If you have a moment take a look at Ron Perry's 735i converted to 5 speed car that sold yesterday on BAT for $19,997.

Yeah saw that yesterday, beautiful example. Had an e32 auto years ago, very fun but like my e23 better. As you note, you don’t see either of them on the road often.

Wondering the same thing. I'm in the market for a 733/735i on a budget. The m30 powered e28s have gotten nutso pricing wise by me even for examples in disrepair. They generally appear more and abused more than similar vintage e23s. I love my e30 but I need a big 6 again haha

I've been driving my '93 740i for 5 years daily now (gone from 118K miles to 181k now) and have seen exactly ONE other so far. And that was at a cars and coffee..

OK two. I talked a friend into buying an orient Blue in Kansas and he loves it too. Great to see his car on the road from time to time!

    Now I want an E23.

What is there not to love about these old e23's? Simply a joy to drive on any journey.

I will be advertising a Alpine white 745i -1985 with clean California title for sale shortly. A couple of friends also asked me to advertise their cars coming up for sale.

A 1984 733i manual with euro bumpers and a 1986 euro converted 735i in burgundy. Located in San Diego.

I will post more photos soon or feel free to email me at ( tez.trj@gmail.com)
