most here know Goodwood...world class vintage iron w/ hi level drivers hired by deep pocket owners..
watch JB show the rest an F1 skill set....a retired skill set at that

I'd have mixed feelings about handing over my million dollar car to him, or any other retired F1 driver.
It's not theirs and these guys are known to be "competitive". Wreck your F1 ride and sponsors fix it, wreck my Cobra say "sorry" and walk away.

I hear ya but perhaps you dont know this hi end vintage world...
agreements are made, insurance is in order......etc etc etc etc...
millions and millions $$$$$$$$$ of metal is on the grid.........the owners are verrrrry well heeled.....they know the game
Actually I am a bit familiar. Pretty sure everyone takes their own lumps. Well heeled or not a wreck would still hurt.
Having said that I once witnessed a Ferrari 250 take a pretty good whack, return to the pit to have what only could be described as medieval methods of repair effected to the bodywork. Pry bars, BFH, 2x4s etc. to get back out on track. Laid back "gentleman's racing" indeed.
