Car isn't overheating, temp gauge is where it should be. I replaced ect sensor #2 and the connector to it, still have a stored code p2185 coolant sensor #2 circuit high. Strangely enough this happened right after someone broke into my car (they got under it and disconnected my horn and lights, and this, among other things, i don't know why). ever since i've had this code. I checked for loose connections, broken wires, etc...no luck. I have no experience diagnosing with a multimeter, but I have one. I couldn't find any additional help from other threads.
Welcome to the Forum!
There is a second Temp sensor in the lower radiator hose on the passenger side, see if that one is connected.

Yes the temp sensor on the lower radiator hose is plugged in
Are you able to reset the code? If so, does the code return?
