I am pulling my valve cover to replace the failed pvc . I foolishly used an impact drill to remove the valve cover bolts. Bad idea! as I snapped all bolts surrounding the coils. Perimeter bolts are fine. They have a much thicker throat. I’d like to remove the spark plug recess insert so I can better get at the snapped bolts . It looks straight forward but asking this forum if theres Any hidden road blocks. From what I can see there’s one torx bolt and three e12 nuts holding down the top plate on the housing. Once removed there are four e12’s holding the insert to the block. Somehow the fuel injector electrics are clipped into the top plate but I don’t know how. Any advise on this removal is most appreciated
thanks
jeff
Update . After looking at a few videos for fuel injector replacement, my question is ,can I remove the surrounding insert without disturbing the injectors
