Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 vs. Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Plus tires

I have a 2005 Z4 that needs new tires. After much research (Consumer Reports, Tire Rack,
Tyre Reviews, etc.) I've narrowed it down to the Michelin All Season 4 and the new Continental DWS 06 Plus. I'm prioritizing road feel and handling, low road noise, and a reasonably comfortable ride. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

I have the Michelins on my 440i x-drive coupe. I like them. The ride's good and road noise is low. I haven't driven with them in winter conditions, but they have good grip in the rain.

The Michelins seem to have the performance edge, but cost more.

I'm currently checking some wheel and tire packages online and I might choose the Conti DWS06 Plus as my new tires because I had a good experience with the original DWS06.

Have the Conti on a '01 Z3, staggered style 42 17" set. They replaced a set of BFG Comp T/A which were horrible with tramlining issues. The new set is fantastic, all issues gone. As the car is driven less than 2K miles per year, price was a huge factor as the tyres will likely dry rot before tread is gone in ten years or so. Quiet is important for me too & once again very pleased with chosen brand. To further reduce road noise, some time this winter the plan is to dismantle the interior, hopefully removing seats & carpet. At this point I will add Dynamat which is excellent at reducing noise.

Wondered what you finally decided to do?
I'm looking at the exact same two options for my 2008 550i after running Michelin AS3's for the last few years.
I've been happy with the AS3's but the price jump on theAS4's seems excessive.
Which way did you finally go?
    Thanks

You can get dws06 plus now, and Michelins have back orders and delays… so I went dws06plus. I’d say they are a bit less steering feel but also more comfortable due to the softer sidewalls. So far I’ve enjoyed them. Caught myself doing 100 instead of 60ish a few times cause they were so much quieter than the rft the first couple of days.
If I were to give my Touring a first name, I'd probably name it "Alan".
    Mostly because I like puns.
