OMG I love that car. I want another e36 so badly, especially in convertible form.

Not my Z3 but it's in the shop for seat bushings and seat belt guides.

Ordered new "Executive" mats from FitMyCar ($79) black with a white edge trim (and white thread). The white to go with the interior color:

Nope, it's Evergreen.

Delivered today was a set of OE Chromeline windshield trim. Install looks easy, once I figure out how to remove the top seal.
I'm a sucker for chrome in the right places, and think these will play nicely with my chrome roll hoops. My car's Arctic Silver, so it'll be subtle.
Not my car, but you get the idea.

Where did you get the Chromeline trim? I feel like we are trading jabs finding these rare factory accessories.
I’ve seen a Pistachio coupe! Jon brought it to ZFEST this year after buying somewhere in Georgia I think.

Haha! I'll trade you for that Speedster cover. I'm not even sure what I'll do if I ever sell. Do I pull all the rare bits off for you guys to fight over or keep them all on the cars? Mpire probably has a dozen of each and is laughing at us.
Jon's Coupe is stunning. I think it's already sold again, which makes me sad. I think I would have taken a shot at it.

You know usually by mid October we are having Peak color on the trees, but here they are still green.
It's that climate change that isn't happening, or if it is happening it has nothing to do with the 5.1 billion metric tons of CO2 dumped into the atmosphere annually. It's all theories made up purposely to deceive us by those so-called experts and their alternate facts. All theories, like the "theory" of evolution.

Looks great! What is your method for washing your engine? I have been reluctant to do much more than wipe down the easily accessible surfaces for fear of getting water into somewhere where it will cause a problem.
I have been powerwashing engines for the last 20 years, and never, not once had a problem. The only thing I really do is cover alternator with plastic target bag, and try not to spray directly into spark plugs and headlight connectors. Everything else is a fair game. Spray, liberal application of the simple green, agitate with the brush, then go to town. Wipe down. Comes out sparkly clean.

I don’t know why it posts sideways. But the part out began last week. It’s been a fun 20 years with this car.

"You can't sign away negligence."
What kind of headlights are those?
Same here. But with 280k miles and the car not really being enjoyed as much as it should be. Its worth a lot more in parts than if I tried to sell as a whole. It took a long time to decide to do this, but it was time.

These are the EBay headlights.
I like the Pistachio way more than the Evergreen, which is my least liked color by far.
Texa,
If you use least aggressive to most aggressive nozzles to pressure wash the engine, which one do you use?
You can’t have everything. Where would you put it?
