Today I started my 1988 325i Auto and discovered a steady stream of transmission fluid leaking between the bellhousing and engine. It actually looks like its pissing fluid. I've never seen anything like it. Any ideas?
The seal at the input on the trans is popped out. My son's did that, also. You have to pull the trans to fix but be very careful putting the torque converter back on when you put the trans back in or you will break the pump find and than you are basically out a transmission because you will have to take it somewhere to change the transmission pump.
When you pull the transmission and pop the seal back in, let us know so we can tell you what to do before installing so the pump do any get broken
No e30s again.
that is a leak which comes sooner or later on every transmission, have done that already on my 4HP24 on the E32 750 https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...ft-seal-repair
