    Obd2 not communicating

I know this has been brought up ALOT! But i cant find my answear.

I have a 04/2000 E46 330d, i cant find a obd plug inside the car, but i have one in my engine room. I have an adapter, with a bluetooth ELM327 hooked up to it. The plug gets power but wont communicate with the ECU, i have a proper OBD scanner and it cant communicate with my car either...

What im trying to achieve is to get the Torque pro app working with my car. Checked all fuses for obd all look good, although my 12v output isnt working, it shares fuse with one for the OBD port but the fuse isnt blown.

All help is appreciated, im sure im not the only one who is struggling with the obd issue, with these lovely (yet frustrating) cars!

OBD port should be located in the panel under the dash on the driver's side. There is a little door you have to open to access it. Get down there with a flash light and look, it should be labeled "OBD."

You should have the "Pac Man" round connector under the hood. Do you? And you have the proper adaptor? Lastly, are you sure your software will work with this? My friend has a very modern scan tool that will not work with anything old enough to have the Pac Man connector. You could try INPA with the proper cable and the proper round adaptor to verify that things are working. Even if you could find the OBD II connector it would be virtually worthless.
