FOR SALE: 1988 BMW 528e – 2.7 liter “Eta” M20 inline-six, 4-speed automatic in very good condition. Exterior color: Cirrus Blue, Interior: Pacific Blue leather. The car has had only two owners; I am the second owner, having inherited this car from my grandfather in 2020. The car was purchased from Competition Imports, Inc. in Smithtown, New York and then moved to Vermont in 2005. The car now resides in Maine. It has been garaged its entire life and unused in the winter months. As a result, rust is minimal. I have the original owner’s manual, original window sticker, and maintenance records dating back to 1995.

  • Replaced all four tires: 195/70TR14 91T Evolution Tour BW 4 Ply Tires

Date: 1/21/2021

  • Removed and replaced timing belt, water pump, cam seal, cap, rotor, ignition wires, and spark plugs.
  • Performed brake service, replaced both front brake calipers and hoses.
  • Performed brake fluid bleed and flush.
  • Removed and replaced right front wheel bearing.
  • Removed and replaced transmission pan gasket, filter, and fluid.

  • Removed and replaced radiator hoses, filled and bled cooling system
  • Removed and replaced right front wheel speed sensor.
