F02 after cooling fan noise? and metal ball dropping sound

Heard extremely loud fan noise while i was coming into my garage. I mean louder than lawn mower.
I turned off the engine but it was still there for 3 mins and at the end it sounds like metal ball dropping.
Wish i can post video of it. I recorded it.

Towed it to dealor but no one knows where or what caused the noise.

So it was not making the noise at the dealer and I guess there were no faults present.

Cain you update us as to what happened at the dealership? We’re you able to replicate the fan & noise…or did it not do it at the dealership?

Just an FYI…the N63 & N63TU engines have electric fans and coolant pumps that can continue to run after the engine is shut down. The engine has 3 different cooling circuits:

• the engine cooling circuit
• the turbo cooling circuit
• the charge air cooling circuit

The turbo cooling circuits’s electric coolant pump can run up to 30 minutes after engine shut down. See the info below that discusses all 3 cooling circuit:
