Hello Forum,

I have a 1987 BMW 525i e28 (euro version) and it has the following problem in the automatic gearbox: the car starts in first gear when cold, but having normal operating temperature, the car starts in second gear (lever in D)

If I put the lever in first gear it connects and moves without problems but if I try to start with the lever in second gear (example) the gear goes from first to second almost instantly, with the car almost without movement ...

Any ideas???
