Looking for any original photos of CT cars in 1984. Preferably new plates on new cars issued in 1984. Working out what series plates were issued in 1984. The old blue plates!

If you want to see what the plates looked like, here is the best source. http://www.worldlicenseplates.com/ - Click on USA, then CT. 87/88 is when the Connecticut and Constitution state was flipped. I still have my plate from 1997. Looks just like a `88. It is illegal to use them. I have put mine on my E34 at Radwood - to look 100% period-correct..... and no one noticed or cared.

Contrary to popular belief, it is not illegal to use a vintage plate so long as you apply for permission to use it on a classic car. I just made a video about it here:

Nice. Thanks for letting me know. I still have 1997 blue and white CT plates.

Hey, since your E32 is in Iceland Green, like my stock E34, maybe we can do a short video/photo-shoot of them in CT. Let me know!
