I need to replace the bulb in the light on the hatch. It's the one on the bottom left which has a red lens on the top and the white lens on the bottom. How do you open up that thing to put in a new bulb?
I'm used to prying off the lens plastic on interior lights but this one seems different. Can't even find it on RealOEM. Looked in the tool caddy but no access from there.

Wedge a small flat screwdriver, or a proper pry tool on the top side of the lens, push down, as if to the bottom of the tailgate, I just did that about two weeks ago and installed LED bulbs throughout the interior of one of my wagons. Be gentle, but forceful, if that makes any sense.
Set the controls for the heart of the sun
When I needed a complete replacement of the bulbs in the car, I decided to install smart light bulbs everywhere, but I carried out this procedure in a car service and unfortunately forgot to ask the mechanic how he got the old bulbs and installed new ones. I can only advise you to contact the dealer car service where you bought your car. I think they will be able to help you right away and do everything very quickly, since the mechanics there are familiar with this cars and will quickly figure out which light bulb to replace. In these car centers, such repairs are not very expensive and this is the second benefit. So you will save both time and money, do not hesitate and go there soon.
