Sticky Steering Wheel Help!

I purchased a 03 530i that sat outside in SoCal for a few years. The steering wheel is sticky. Mild soap and warm water doesn't do it.

Are there any tricks/ tips?!

Try Lexol leather cleaner and a soft horsehair brush. Use plenty of water but be ready to wipe it off before it runs everywhere. May take several iterations.

Try Griot's Garage's Interior Cleaner. It won't leave any residue.

Chemical Guys leather cleaner fixed my sticky steering wheel and made the car smell better!

Agree 100%. My steering wheel was quite sticky but Chemical Brothers leather cleaner worked well and removed all stickiness
