Hi Gents,
I have an unusual question, one that has been on my mind for a while now but never thought to ask. There is a small red plastic tab on top of each release mechanism and one is missing on the right seat. I would like to see if I could find a replacement one.
What would be the best way of going about this as there is no actual part number that I've come across ? Has anyone had to deal with this before ?
That cover is a separate part, but it looks like the latch itself is part of the seat.

Yes, the cover is a separate part correct, but the bit I need seems to be a part of something bigger and I didn't want to have to resort to pulling it all apart to find out and risk breaking stuff in the process. I have looked online for a replacement "complete" seat section with the tab in place but the prices are stupid, even for a manky old looking seat. I was hoping to be able to find a cheap torn, worn damaged seat and pull it apart and see if I can salvage the bit I need.
I'll keep looking I guess.
Was hoping someone here may have pulled one apart who already knows the inner workings of this section.
Thanks for responding anyway. If you find out anything please let me know.
