    s50 Exhaust Cam Condition - Scoring

    All- changed my valve cover the other day and while the camshafts and valve cover are clean (no sludge), I did find some unusual wear on the exhaust cam. Specifically in one area that appears to be a score mark on the center of the shaft (lobes appear to be fine). anyone know what may cause this?

    Like that part between the lobes? That's just factory manufacturing stuff ... it's fine.
