I did a little searching but don't see my scenario. Appreciate any help with tips to solve. I'm certain I forgot something dumb. I already realized I was stupid to not unhook the battery before this project...
Removed the driver's seat from the car to replace the seat cushion. Original was cut by previous owner and I finally am getting around to fixing.
Reinstalled the seat and now get a Driver Restraint System error on the dash.
I did unbolt the seatbelt. Something with the tensioner?
Do I need to reset the fault with a scanner?
I did unhook the battery for 15 mins with no luck.
Appreciate any thoughts here.
Try clearing faults if you don’t have equipment a shop is going to have to do it
It is probably the seatbelt buckle. Is it connected properly?
Found a friend with a nice Launch Torque scanner. It cleared the fault and appears to be gone. Fingers crossed.
