Nothing major as far as any mechanical reasons but it has the updated lighting, interior, and technology bits (if I remember correctly) Again personally, I would get the manual gearbox just because it's probably one of the last few generations of cars you will ever be able to buy in the U.S that offers one.. also I'm a big fan and prefer it over the DSG in my B8.5 S4. I'm between a 2018 RS3 or a F8x M4/3. The biggest factor with me right now is that I live in Ohio where it snows. IDK if I want to drive my (after some mods) 500 horsepower RWD M car in the snow to work everyday in the winter... but hey, YOLO or whatever. I'll always have my 'ol M3
