I'm interested in the amp.
I have a 95 M3 and the sound system goes out almost like it's loosing power. I'm not exactly sure what the issue is, but I'm curious if it's the amp.

It's an 11/94 build. I have dual speakers in both doors and a C33(I think) headunit with the 6 disc CD changer in the trunk.

Okay, if be best if you have a picture of your connectors behind the door speakers but it sounds like this amp is compatible if you have a hifi amp but you still need to get updated HK speakers or Bavsound to match the impedence of the new amp (even if you decide to get radio later on)
If you give me your vin number I can also confirm if you have hifi
I'll send you a PM with the VIN. Do you know If there would be issues with compatibility if I swapped my C33 to a CD43? I would think not but figured it didn't hurt to ask.

Just replied and the AMP is compatible with your wiring harness. It is a direct swap but fitment it is a hit or miss. It sticks out by 1mm which was the best that I could do after an hour of messing with the wiring in the dash.
Plus it tends to be more expensive.
But honestly with Bavsound speaker, HK AMP, C43 was more than sufficient. I wasn't able to distinguish the difference when go to c43 vs cd43 (I play music through my bluetooth) so there is only so much the headunit can do in terms of quality.
