window will only go half why up and stop! i changed out the window regulator and motor and still have the same issue,, not sure where to go next

Check your window tracks for debris and contamination. You can also lube them with some silicone spray. You can take the window off the regulator and slide it up and down to make sure it's moving freely. Then run the regulator and make sure it works fully as well.

Also the window guide seal may have the sensor built into it that if your arm is out the the window it will not close on it, it’s called anti trap
