    Exclamation Will a BMW F10 M5 Exhaust fit an F10 550?

Hello forum! Been a while since I've made an update, but I got the 2014 550 M sport and have been enjoying the car and learning about it since December. Long story short, I wanted to straight pipe the car to hear that beastly engine, but my local muffler shop's plan wasn't very reassuring of the fact that removing the active exhaust could cause some issues... When the welder suggested welding the active exhaust tip to to a 3 inch pipe with a bracket I knew It was time to go. I want to get this cat-back f10 M5 exhaust, but I was wondering if anyone knew if it's an exact fit. The M5 system still has active exhaust, but much smaller mufflers and slightly different piping. I don't see why it wouldn't fit, Considering the m5 an 550 have a lot of similarities, but I would like to have more confidence before I ship it/ drive out to get it. If anyone know a lot about this generation of 5 series or can help in any way, I'd really appreciate it. Going to be posting a lot more on here now that It's spring and I can do all the modifications I've been contemplating. I will put some pictures of the car up later today!! Thanks guys

Long story short, I wanted to straight pipe the car, but my local muffler shop's plan wasn't very reassuring of the fact that removing the active exhaust could cause some issues... When the welder suggested welding the active exhaust tip to to a 3 inch pipe with a bracket, without any piping connected to it, I bailed because I didn't feel confident in the idea. I want to get this cat-back f10 M5 exhaust I found, but I was wondering if anyone knew if it's an exact fit.
