Starts and stalls immediately

Please help.. I am dumbfounded with my 01 330XI as after a car wash the rpms went up and before being toweled off the car stalled out. So far I have replaced a burnt out fuse that was in a fuse pack under the hood. And the fuel filter. The fuel pump is fine and not old at all. I drained all the gas out and re gassed it again with 93 octain instead of 91. But it will not sttart and run..... Please help me!

The first step in diagnosing a problem is to scan the engine computer (DME in BMWspeak) for codes. Find a reputable indie shop that specializes in bimmers at www.bimrs.org.
