Hamilton showed why he is a 7 time champion. He's got a fight on his hands this year.
Great race. The knight showed his class. Hoping for a proper fight all season.
I don't mind it. I did hear a suggestion that only the top finisher from each team should give constructor's points, though, which would keep things under control toward the back half of the season.
Great race, lots of fun to watch. Hamilton really had to earn that win, and he did. It's fun seeing people butthurt about Max giving the position back, like passing over a car width off the track should be okay. Fun racing to watch all the way down the order. I feel 0% bad about Mazepin binning it immediately, but feel bad that Alonso had to park it during that great 3-way scrap he was having. Tsunoda did a great job, was sad Gasly was handicapped from the word go. Another heroic effort from Perez. Lots of good racing.

here's a quick look at Hamilton's racing lap at Paul Ricard later this year if the stewards have the same attitude as the first race (0:44-2:10). FiA needs to get their crap together and enforce rules that are obvious, like not extending track limits (especially when the winner makes his own line off track for more than 1/2 the completed laps of a race). Max should've won that race, he does seem to have the best car this year too. If Max loses the championship by a couple of points bc of the opening race... I can only imagine the outrage from fans
