Don’t know
Maybe I'm crazy (I am to some extent) but I consider some cars deserving better fate then some people.
I feel bad for this E39:

E36 M3 S52 engine / 5 speed manual * Kassel Performance Tune * Bilstein B12 * 18" M Parallel Wheels * Supersprint Headers * HJS cats* Remus Muffler * Full custom SS T304 exhaust system * 3.15 Diff * Euro Leather Armrest * Spal Electric Fan * M Sport Steering Wheel * OEM Aero Front Spoiler * 324mm Brakes Upgrade * Hella LED Tail Lights * OEM M Sport Rear Bumper

Loved the signs of a well cared for vehicle. Broken interior rearview mirror, cleaned carpet mats, highly detailed interior and a well groomed owner!

I always appreciate good "breaks!"
Spare parts on the back seat always inspire confidence in buyers.
At least this semi-literate is smart enough to recognize he's in way over his head with this car. I'd wager he hasn't had it for long and it remains a salvageable case.
$22k and the desperate tone don't jibe but the market will educate him soon enough.
FWIW There are way worse ads and sellers out there

If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. - Mark Donohue
Some really impressive incoherent gibberish in that ad. I hope someone will save that car from him before he tries to fix something on it.

Yeah, there are worse ads and this E39 might be saved from the doom.
The problem with this one and ones like it, there is no way to tell the damage done already: Not changing oil on time or with wrong viscosity chain store special, redlining dead cold engine and thinking "Hmm, what are those red indicators on rpm gauge etc...
Oh well, we can't save them all.
Glad Joe doesn’t sell used BMW’s
I will always own a BMW.
Not BMW but my nomination for the day.

Semi literate? The dude said he fixed the breaks! That the brakes? Or all the stuff he broke?

Man I don't know it might be ok then again who knows maybe this guy really messed it up and the prior owner may have not been too sharp either but it does say it has some Dina upgrades so that's a plus but who knows if the short shifter was installed right this guy Walker may not know what he's doing, at least some filters were replaced but sounds like the interior might be in bad shape from the sun but the belts were replaced so that's good but I don't know if I want to publicly throw a price that just sounds sketchy I don't know I think I'll pass
My 540 looked about like that when I bought it, granted mine was 1900$ blah blah blah you all know the story.

Comedy gold right there. That guy can’t catch a brake I mean break...
Sold: 1997 Arctic M
It might be fun. Like a people of Walmart thread. Do it like the old ‘unofficial touring’ thread, or what did you do to your e39 thread.
OK, I pulled myself out of the garage and looked into the poll. It can’t be started on an active thread, has to be a new thread.
I’ll start one and then see if I can move all of these posts into the new thread.
CPHES, I can’t believe some of those people of Walmart actually go to the store dressed (if that’s what you want to call it) like that.
This is just for ads you’ve seen on the internet that are a few cards short of a full deck.
No posting your actual car or parts here, those will get the axe if you try.

Lol, Saw that before, still laughing now. Love how the moron used chicken screen to cover the underbody where you can still see the holes for the old bumper shocks. I would put two water canons filled with old motor oil in there, pointed backwards, slightly up, hook up two good strong pumps and run a switch to the center console area.
