My E81 130i has got the 005DF0 and 005DF1 error codes that calls for a replacement abs pump unit. I can find quiet a few out there, and usually specified by sellers as compatible with E81, E82, E87 and E90. But will they be interchangeable between all those models over all model years?
The pump in my E81 is labelled 3451-67788484-01
At the abs pumps for sale it seems they all have numbers starting with 3451 and ending with 01, but the middle eight digits always differs. Are the middle eight digits an unique unit serial number, not a parts number?
Welcome to the Forum!
This is the best place to look to see what pump and from what other models that will fit on your car, it's call a cross-parts index.
So this is one from a model year 2008: RealOEM.com - Part Search
You didn't include a year, so I don't know if any of those would be correct.

Thanks, and yes my car is a 2008 year model. But you searched for a different part id compared to the one I wrote, you changed 3451 to 3450 but still got a match. When I search for the id starting with 3451 I get no hits. How can that be?

Go to www.realoem.com and enter the last 7 characters of your car’s vehicle identification number. Hit enter and bookmark the page. Scroll down to brakes and find the part # for the ABS pump. Click on the part #. This will show you what other cars use the same pump. It should also show you what other ABS part #s will work in your car.
