Hi
I was bleeding rear brakes and when i did pump brake pedal to get pressure hydraulic resevoir started to leak oil?
What to do next?
The seals/plugs that mount onto the brake master cylinder could be bad.
Below is a new brake master cylinder that I'm going to install in my e23. The reservoir sits down in the seals. A new master cylinder will come with those seals/plugs.
You may want to inspect and see if the reservoir is sitting flush in the master cylinder. Hope that helps.

Disregard my previous post, I'm trippin'. You meant the reservoir where you put the powersteering fluid correct? Could possibly be a brake bomb issue, maybe someone else can chime in.

Cleaf- did you release the brake bomb pressure before you started the bleed process? You should press the pedal about 15-20 times with the car off to do this. If not, you MAY have a bad bomb now.
Or, the canister was just a little too full?
Sounds like someone overfilled your canister and the many pumps required to bleed your brakes revealed this.

canister gets filled to 10mm below the rim with car OFF and AFTER pressing brake pedal 20 times to release the fluid in the brake bomb. If filled while running it is over-filled. If filled before releasing the fluid in the brake bomb, it is over filled.
Overfilled will overflow when the car is off and the brake pedal is cycled releasing the fluid in the brake bomb.
