Hello,
Bought 2 new michelin tires two 1 month ago, driven them for like 1000 km or less and they look very bad now. Somone have an answer how could this happen to a new tire? no drifting or track days.
tires: pilot super sport: 245/35/18
These are the rear tires driven on a rear wheel drive bmw.

Look at the manufacturing date stamp on the side wall, you might have been sold an old set: https://www.tireamerica.com/resource...20year%202000.

Is the majority of your driving on smooth paved roads, or gravel type roadway?

A 300 treadwear rated tire is going to be soft.
The dust and edge wear look like you drive on rough roads. Not a good match for this type tire.
Short tire life in rear only suggests a lead foot as well.
