Hi all!
My car has been off-road on my driveway for 2 years, during this time I have started it on occasion but have never full-tanked it or covered it. I am putting it back on the road soon but just wanted to know if there is anything that I could do to prevent any further damage. Currently, one tyre valve split, the jet washers are blocked and I have only been rolling it back and forth on my drive which seem to release the brakes, also I did not apply the handbrake as I was told this would cause the rear brakes to seize. Does anyone think it would be worth filling the fuel tank and running it idling any more, or should I just cover it and leave it?

Start the engine let it idle, warm it up Change the oil, maybe the fuel filter, fill up the tank, just see what happens
Check for signs of mice. Mine had been off the road for about 2 months, stored in my driveway (southern Wisconsin USA, it's been cold here). I recently got it running again, today I swapped the cabin air filters and found seed husks near the cowl, but no signs of chewed wires or nesting. But they've obviously been there. I can't imagine how many there might be in a car sitting for 2 years.
