    Upgrading subs?

Looking to upgrade my sub system on F32. The center sub is pretty good but the under the seat subs don't give off as much as the middle one. Also, is there a setting somewhere for the subs? I am planning on making the underseat subs a little bit louder, preferably without modifying the AMP or splicing anything. Any suggestions?

Go to www.crutchfield.com to see what fits. The website allows you to enter details about the car. The website will then show you only stuff that fits your car. I’ve replaced most of the speakers (and the amp) in my car. Factory speakers aren’t very hood. The magnets are pretty wimpy.

would just changing the underseat subs without swaping amps suffice?

Depends upon the efficiency of the new subs versus turboprop subs. The problem is you don’t have any specs on the old subs. As far as tuning the amp, I know the F22 HK amp is tune-able. Go to 2 Addicts to check out the thread in the electronics section.

I have the hi-fi sound system not HK. on bavsound it says I can upgrade the subs without changing or modifying stock AMP

Of course it sez that, they want to sell you subs. Yes, you can update the subs without changing the amp. But, factory amps, HK or not, are underpowered. Plus, they either can’t be tuned or the tuning is very limited.
