Bmw x5 e53 bluetooth not working

Hi, my X5 e53 bluetooth is not working.
The pairing search dont even recognize it.

Do you think it's better to replace the Bluetooth module
And keep all OEM
Or to go with an aftermarket Bluetooth adapter that is
Connected ti the radio AUX entry.

First, I’d try a different phone to test the Bluetooth in the X. If that doesn’t pair you’ll have to have the system scanned for faults. Try www.bimrs.org to find a reputable indie shop that specializes in bimmers in your area. The shop will have the BMW proprietary software to scan the system.
