NEED 1988 M6 rear muffler or OEM Exhaust system OR a deal on an aftermarket directfit

Hello, I have a 1988 M6 and need a rear muffler. Prefer an oem rear muffler that I can just have welded on or even a whole OEM system. I cannot find one anywhere so I am no opposed to an aftermarket system as long as it is a good deal. Also open to suggestions. I have already seen the supersprint option as well as the billy boat option. Pic of the car attached.RFM_Dec 15 2020_1988BMWM6_72.jpg

If you want OEM, here you go:
    https://www.bmwofsouthatlanta.com/pa...ust-components

This is the section after the center section or catalytic converter.

    Too many
I had Billy Boat on my M6, really liked it. It wasn't too loud, no droning and fit well.

Dealer doesn't have it unfortunately. If you order that it will just give you your money back after two days.

I'd also suggest an aftermarket rear section, unless yours can be repaired. I'm told that BMW will do occasional production runs for rare parts like that. I believe the OEM BMW part was made by Boysen. High quality, very durable, but quite expensive.

I also liked the BB tri-flow on my 635CSi. Very high quality, easy to install, but unfortunately not 100% OEM.

This part number is available: 18-10-1-311-895
The other one is on back order. I dont know what the difference is other than a date code thing.

I have a full Billy Boat system and it is great, A bit loud but that's because BB uses "cherry bombs" for resonators which I am going to replace at some point with more sound deadening type but will still maintain the throatiness With stock resonators their muffler should give you a nice throaty sound

You may try EBay.de. Note there are two layers to the rear muffler so it may look like hell but function fine like mine.

I just bought a 1987 m6 OEM muffler from bmw a couple of months ago. Maybe I got the last one. I have my old one that is in fair condition. It was too good to throw out. Contact me if you are interested.

I was looking for one from the dealer a year ago, did not pull the plug but it was 1200.00 not 1800.00. Sorry but that is not justifiable.

Have a Billy Boat rear section from a CSI, not sure if it fits the M models. Have it listed in the parts section.
