So got this F32 about 2 weeks ago from a BMW dealer and the other day I got into the car and it gave me drivetrain malfunction error. I restarted the car and it went away and hasn't been back since. Car is 2014 1 owner with 30k miles. Something I should be worried about?

You should have the stored codes read to get a better idea. It could be something simple, or not.

I am sure you have a 90 day or 3k miles warranty on the car, just book an appointment and have them pull codes for you.

I would check with the place you bought it from, or just check the paperwork you received from them. Last time I got a used BMW from a dealership in the states, it had a 90 day or 3k warranty, here in Europe they come with a 1 year unlimited mile warranty.

I took it to a BIMRS shop and they said that the VANOS solenoid is going bad. I reached out to the dealer but it seems that they are dragging their feet on it. BIMRS guy is asking $760!
