    Do you like carbon fiber?

Ive been MIA but i've been lurking. Now I am back with BMW North America previously with Mercedes-Benz. Ive seen some of your guys posts and the cars look great. Here is a sneak peak of what is going on with my ride. YES I STILL HAVE IT. I promise I will post more than one picture.

PTG. 1000000000% authentic courtesy of Randy and the crew at PGC. He is responsible for the aero and carbon work on the championship PTG/BMW North America's race cars. Wing alone weighs 6.5lbs excluding hardware.

This is not a flex I just hope the way I modify my cars inspires the younger generations to do it the right way. Work hard and spend money on quality parts. Ultimately modify it they way YOU want to. I joined this forum back when I was 18?! So I hope this inspires someone who loves modifying cars as much as I do.

PGC does great work, and overall the wing is very nice. From the pic, it looks like the wing base doesn't align well with the lip portion—a bit of overhang on the insides of the risers. Does it look this way in person? Do you expect this to self correct when mounted?

It's likely not even screwed down. Also if you look at some of the OEM wings they didn't fit 100% perfect. Plus being a race-car part made from molds from the original parts... I think the fitment will be as authentic as one would reasonably expect.

This isn't all completed bolted together yet. Fitment with with PGC is as close to factory you can get.

about that... are you going to have a ptg style wheel arch? or have they lowered it to make for less monster wheel gap on a "stock" style suspension. or are you planning on going all out with raised strut towers and tubular control ams and whatnot....

ive always wanted to see what bmw\ptg did to the true race cars suspensions. there once was a website e30m3proformance.com that had a complete walkthrough of the dtm/group a e30 m3's, had all the different rear trailing arms shown and everything, showed all the adjusters and blade swaybar hardware ect. it was true car porn. never seen anything like that for the latter bmw's best ive seen is a e46 on a lift showing the tubular subframe and e36's with the e30 dtm style front hardware from engine bay pics.

enthusiast auto has a e36 race car that looks legit..... i kinda want to plead with them to put it on a lift for their youtube channel.

We are getting the kit on first. We will then make adjustments to the suspension as needed. Vehicle is currently very low as it is with a lot more to go. The car sits on KW's right now.

I wouldn’t say it’s dead. People have moved on to Zucks dumb sites instead of supporting places like BFC. I plan keeping my threads here, and nee ones to come.

    Love the carbon bits.

Update... Just a quick test fit.

Not bolted down PTG full carbon fiber 6.5lbs excluding hardware and brake lamp. Brake lamp will sit flush when installation is completed.
