I've gone down the rabbit hole and read a lot on this topic, but have yet to find a definitive list or guide of what all Ford vehicles and model years are M20 compatible (plug and play with no wiring/connector changes). Does anyone know of a good source for that info?
I am planning to get the Miller MAF conversion with the chip for 19# Ford injectors, but I need to get the injectors. I'm planning to get some salvage ones and have them cleaned. Or, does anyone know of a good source that sells them at a good enough price that it's not worth the time and effort to go the yard and pull used ones?
thanks
maybe r3vlimited has a list. back in the day, e30tech had the list but the site is down and i don't have the link for the archived version.
i know i used from an f150/e150 with the small v8, the 4.6. and i have used from a 302 from a crown vic so i think anything with the smaller ford v8 works fine and is 19
No e30s again.
I am running Bosch 0280150943 which are found in Fords and are rated at 19lbs. They are a 4 pintle 19 degree center cone spray pattern. 0280150566 are also Ford and are the same flow/ spec. Both are yellow top EV1 injectors with Bosch L jetronic connector, same as an E30.
Typo above 0280150556
Thanks!
Bosch 0280155746 also work as stated above, they look different and are more skinny, they also don't have the ridges for the clips that hold the injectors to the fuel rail. But I swapped them for some I had bought on eBay that didn't work well with the Miller MAF and chip (Bosch 0280150973, don't get those, they are for a Buick V6) and now the car runs like a champ.
