    Door window guide/seal part #?

I am on RealOEM but can't seem to find this thing...so apologies if I'm just blind.

Ok, if you remove the door panel, along where thr window rolls up, mine is cracked and broken on both sides...pic included.

    Where can I buy this?

Those are part of the door panel. They hold the panel on the door. Yours came unglued and are now stuck to the door. BMW doesn't sell them AFAIK but you might find them on eBay or something.

Oh. Awesome...the joys of old cars.

At $500+ a pop and me already restoring the panels, I'll make a resin mold or something.

    Thanks mate!

Or you can order an aftermarket one from eBay. There are 2 different kinds on eBay. I used the plastic one for my coupe and it works fine.

I have used the metal ones from Turtlelabs and they work fine. I think the key with all our door panel pockets and whatnot is lots of good glue!

Sadly enough, I was working on my brother's first gen x3 the other day and it has the same issue which goes a step further because on those cars, that strip is integrated into larger hulk of plastic that holds accessories such as door speakers etc.

I appreciate all the help guys.

I went with the plastic ones per Miclin's recommendation, should have them in a week or so.

For the glue, should I epoxy it, or is there a preferred adhesive for auto interior you recommend for these?

The most durable form of adhesion for this application is Ultra Black Silicone. The same stuff you use on the valve cover gasket.

Gorilla glue, epoxy, yadda yadda, all fail very quickly on the door panels. The ultra black will last a very long time.
