I have done this conversion twice.
1) Fitted a M54B25 inlet manifold to a M52TUB25 in a E46 323i
2) Fitted a M54B25 inlet manifold to a M52TUB20 in a E36/7 Z3
Easy job.
- Use your original fuel injectors
- Use your original throttle body but you have to get an adapter. Bimmertune on E-bay sells a really good one.
- Use the original fuel rail
The M54B30 inlet manifold works well too. Different throttle body adaptor and you have to stretch the fuel rail pipes a little to get it around the B30 inlet manifold.
1999 2.8L Z3 Roadster,
2000 3.0L Z3 Roadster,
There is only one thing more pleasurable than working on a Z3, that's driving it top down on a fine day.
