Hello,
Here are some more fault codes I scanned from my 2013 E93/N51 (104k mls), would really appreciate comments from knowledgeable folks here.
Car Access System CAS (1 fault)
A0B6 - CAS: Selector-lever interlock
Question: What is the cause & impact of this code?
Instrument cluster KOMBI (3 faults)
9315 - KOMBI: Odometer difference
Question: Difference between what? As you can see from the attached photo, there is no tamper dot on my dash)
A559 - Instrument cluster: Power supply has been switched off (closed-circuit current cutoff relay)
A56F - Message incorrect (status emergency call 0x2C3), receiver KOMBI, transmitter CBX-ECALL
Question: What is the cause & impact of the above 2 codes?
Telematics control unit TEL/MULF (1 fault)
A900 - USB port: Shut-down due to overloading
Question: All I have connected to USB port is my iphone charging cable, which works intermittently. What do I need to address?
Combox emergency call TEL/MULF (1 fault)
AA0E - CBX-ECALL Software reset
Question: I guess this can be ignored, probably an optional emergency call feature that is disabled.
“Telematics control unit TEL/MULF (1 fault) A900 - USB port: Shut-down due to overloading”
I wonder if the phone is drawing too much current or if the cable is bad.
You are posting many threads about incidental codes you are finding. They mean nothing if they are old stored codes.
Clear them and see what comes back. Otherwise they are meaningless, and can be very old stored codes.
