Sifted through the forums and I can't find any links in old posts for VIN decoders that still work. VIN is either 7350400 or 735O400...title says zero 400, dash tag looks more like OH 400.
7350400 is a US, March 1980 733i, manual tranny and most VIN decoders that would spit out a build sheet did not go back that far. Never seen one with info on cars before 83 and now most decoders are dead.
Thanks very much. All stuff I knew, was hoping to find a build sheet but what are ya gonna do, right?
Well look at the bright side. The US cars came fully loaded to US specifications with very few options. Looking at a US 1980 733i brochure would list those options and you could determine if that car had those options. The difficulty there is the brochure. The car-cm-jp only has the UK and Japanese brochures for the 7 for 1980.
Never could attain for my 12/82 Ljet. I am guessing ASAP sheets became 'a thing' in 01/83.
Just like Keith, about all I ever have seen for US car options were paint choices, interior choices, transmission option, and open diff or LSD.
