And the car has the factory wiring to the hitch connection, I have a great story, my customer has lots of money, calls one day says he has bought a boat and wants us to install a hitch for it. I ask him what kind of boat he gives me the model, we look it up and it’s huge. The guy I worked with was a skier and knew about towing and stuff. Turned out the x5 e53 I believe couldn’t tow it not enough gross vehicle weigh short wheel base. I call him and tell him the news, he says so I have a new boat and nothing to tow it with, I said yup, told him he needs a pickup with a tow package, which he went out and bought.
