1995 540i wiring harness questions

So I just got my m60b40 put into my 530i I have the 530i wiring harness and I just had some questions about the three wires on the passenger side come off the wiring harness right next to the dme box. I’m trying to figure out where they go I believe one is ground and the other two are power. Just need some input because I hooked all three to the junction box and the little one melted it’s covering off. Thank you for the input

Randomly hooking up wires to a fat unfused B+ connection is asking for trouble.
